Would we come back? Yes, for sure
Unlike virtually everyone else, we were not looking for post safari do-nothing chill out. We explored the village, took long walks, sailed, swam, talked to everyone and made some good friends. We took a trip to Stone Town (well worth it), and swam out to the reef from the shore a few times, as well as going out to the reef in a dhow for more organised snorkelling. We saw some interesting beasties, notably the elusive elephant shrew and the rarely seen giant rat. Virtually all the indigenous animals are shy so are not a threat.
