Livingstone Reviews

Well worth visiting
Victoria Falls is a breathtaking place to visit. You may get very wet but the views of the falls are incredible. Plenty of other activities to do in the area especially if you love wildlife. Lots of choice on accommodation, from luxury hotels to excellent camp sites (try Kubu Cabins, 30 minutes' drive from Livingstone). We went as a family of 4 with our 9 and 13 year old daughters and we all loved our holiday in Livingstone. I would say you need at least 4 nights to get the most out of a visit.

Beautiful Livingstone
We had a very short but fantastic time in Livingstone. There are so many activities that you could easily spend a week there and have something exciting to do every day. The people are very friendly and helpful and proud of the beautiful area they live in.

Unforgettable holiday
The Livingstone area is wonderful! It still has an Old World charm and add the Victoria Falls, stunning views and all the activities in the area to this, you have the perfect spot for an unforgettable holiday. Livingstone's hopitality is well known and its friendly, welcoming people adds value to your experience. There are numerous options for accommodation in the area in all price ranges - along the Batoka Gorge, the Zambezi River or in the town.

Beware the curio touts
We had a very enjoyable stay in and around Livingstone. The Victoria Falls are, of course, magnificent and the town has all the facilities you might expect. However we found the curio touts outside the Livingstone Museum (which was very interesting) annoying and the constant hassling also took the pleasure out of browsing at the curio stalls in town.

Livingstone Zambia
Livingstone is a world-class tourist destination, with a huge amount of activities. All the locals we interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. All the activities we participated in, were well organized and executed. Apart from the chaos that is the Zambian customs and immigration at Katima Mulilo, I cannot recall a single unpleasant memory of our stay in Zambia and Livingstone.
