We entered Lesotho at the Ficksburg Border Post and found Customs on both sides very pleasant.Upon entering Lesotho we found a total absence of sign posts so make sure that you know exactly where you are going!The drive from the Border Post to the Dam is magificient but one needs to excercise caution as the roads in Winter can be dangereous.We stayed over-night at the "Orion Lodge Katse"which turned out to be nothing other than the original construction camp accommodation.Although clean it was very cramped and unsuitable for the rates charged.Meals were very mediocre.Visiting hours of tour of... see more

Noticed that there was no litter in or around the town, loved that! We spent one night at St James, friends of ours had never been to Lesotho, so we gave them a little taste of what it's like. They loved it, which made our trip all the more enjoyable!
