This cottage has two bedrooms, with the main bedroom fitted with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom fitted with a double bed. These bedrooms share one full bathroom. There is a cosy lounge with a fireplace and comfortable sofas. A TV with a full DStv Premium bouquet is available in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a dining area seating four. The property is fully fenced and gated with its own separate access. There is a carport and plenty of extra parking. Braai facilities and a garden table with seating for a sundowner evening meal is set on the patio.

Spitskop Cottage is located in Underberg, Kwa Zulu Natal. Spitskop sits above the village with sweeping uninterrupted views of the berg. The property is 8.5ha. We can organise Sani Pass, Birding day trips, horse riding, hikes. The area is set at the base of the uKhahlamba World Heritage Site and is surrounded by the Drakensberg mountain range. Breakfast available If wanted The drive up to the house is not suitable for very low vehicles. This cottage is ideal for a couple, as it has one bedroom with a queen-size bed. An extra bed can be arranged on request. The bedroom is equipped with linen and an electric blanket, and it has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a lounge area with sofas and an open fireplace. No TV is available, however guests can enquire about the Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen has Burmese-teak fittings and is fully equipped for self-catering, featuring a stove, a fridge and a microwave. The cottage leads onto a large verandah with stunning views of the mountain range. There is a sandstone courtyard with fire pit and braai area. This cottage is set on 8.6 hectares overlooking the village of Underberg. It is within easy reach to the shops, horse riding, fishing spots and hiking trails. A visit to Lesotho and Sani Pass is a highlight. Don't forget your passports

Esigodini is the Zulu name for "Place in the Valley," and it is a delightful holiday cottage nestled in its own valley just off the Drakensberg Gardens road, approximately 1 km from the hotel. About four km from the cottage, there is a convenience store which is well stocked for odds and ends. Both the hotel and Castle Burn have restaurants which offer meals to visiting guests. The cottage is fully equipped and well-appointed with three bedrooms, a separate outside chalet with a large bedroom and bathroom. The complete unit comfortably accommodates 8 guests in the four bedrooms. The lounge in the main cottage has a feature stone fireplace and a DStv decoder is provided, but guests must bring their own smart card or newer decoder for satellite reception. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need for self-catering. The smaller cottage has a double bed and an en-suite shower bathroom. There is a braai area and a boma fire pit ideal for a relaxing night under the stars. The units are serviced and all linen is provided. The house is situated in a large 20-acre, tree-filled garden with a small dam and stream running through the property. It is surrounded by rambling roses and lush green grass, and it has a commanding view of the Rhino Peak of the Drakensberg escarpment. The bird life is good and it’s a really lovely place to relax and unwind. There are lots of lovely walks to various pools and waterfalls. Esigodini is a wonderfully peaceful and comfortable refuge for a relaxing getaway and the ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the Southern Drakensberg.

Motebong Village offers self-catering accommodation for groups, individuals and families who really want to get away from the rat race and unwind. At an altitude of approximately 2,600 metres above sea level, Motebong Village is also an ideal spot for those wishing to experience the clean air in the mountains, crisp, clear water and outstanding views. It is located close to the village of Ha Lejone, where guests will get introduced to the culture of the Basotho, interact with its people and discover Lesotho, the Mountain Kingdom. Accommodation at Motebong Village comprises 46 self-catering, self-contained chalets. All the units feature lounges and dining rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and gardens with rudimentary barbecue stands. Ample parking for all visitors' vehicles, most being under cover, are also provided. The standard lounges have couches, coffee tables and anthracite coal stoves for those long cold winter days and nights, while the dining rooms are equipped with dining tables and chairs to accommodate the number of guests that each chalet can accommodate. The kitchens are clean and equipped with stoves, ovens, microwave ovens, fridges, toasters and electric kettles, and also have sufficient cutlery and crockery for the occupants. The Village has a perimeter fence for security and utilizes the services of a local security company to provide 24-hour security. Motebong Village also offers accommodation for groups on conferences, workshops and team-building sessions. The Village features a hall that can accommodate up to 50 delegates, with several breakaway rooms. The usual conferencing facilities and equipment can be provided, with an advanced request made for some of these. Although Motebong Village is mainly a self-catering village with all the chalets having their own fully equipped kitchens, it has recently opened its restaurant. The Village also has a small shop for those visitors who may have forgotten cooking and other essentials, but the supplies here are limited in range and quantity. Visitors are urged not to rely on this.

Sit next to the braai fire at night, listen to reed buck whistle, owls hoot, frogs harmonize and jackal call across the valleys then wake to birdsong and farm life. There are 2 thatched, stone-clad cottages, each in their own fully fenced garden, which can sleep 6 and 4 people respectively. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge area and patios with outside seating and braai facilities. Guests park in the garden under the trees. Guests may fish, kayak and picnic at the dams. Underberg is ideal if you enjoy the outdoors, activities and attractions include the Giant’s Castle hike, the Cobham Nature Reserve, fly fishing in the dams, horse trails and cave hikes.

Breathtaking scenery abounds and every season has unique attractions. Malealea is situated in a remote part of Western Lesotho that is breathtaking in its beauty. This is a chance to experience traditional Basotho life. The owners, Jones family, run Malealea Lodge. They are credited with more local knowledge than anyone. Various Basotho children’s’ choirs and a local Basotho music band using their local homemade instruments entertain the guests in the evenings around a campfire. Outings range from 1 hour to 6 days or longer tailor-made to your requirements. The treks are usually about 7 hours each day. No riding experience is necessary. The huts and horses are hired from the Basotho people in remote areas. The huts are very basic and are equipped with a gas cooker, cooking and eating utensils, mattresses on the floor.
