Day visitors are welcome although there is a maximum limit of people that can enter the park daily but this is only a consideration during public holidays and long weekends. Visitors with pre-booked accommodation automatically have access.

It’s worth noting that opening and closing times for Kruger National Park Entrance Gates and Camp Gates differ each season. Generally the Camp Gates open earlier than the Entrance Gates, and you'll find hardened Kruger travellers get up well before sunrise to beat the crowds and experience the magical sights and sounds of this vast wilderness.
