About Klungkung Palace

Klungkung Palace, also known as Puri Agung Semarapura, is a 17th century royal complex that was almost completely destroyed in 1908 by the Dutch colonialists. Today all that remains is the court of justice, named the Kertha Gosa Pavilion, a floating pavilion and the main gate.
