About Caracal Biodiversity Centre

The Caracal Biodiversity Centre is an NGO promoting and developing conservation and research programs. Their Environmental Education Centre allows tourists and community members to get an up close encounter with snakes, other reptiles, birdlife, small mammals and insects. The main focus is to promote sustainable wildlife utilization, wildlife conflict resolution, and endangered species management. This includes rescue of injured wildlife, ecosystem health and natural resource management, training of government staff, communities and school children.

Open Monday to Sunday from 09:00 - 17:00.
