Himmafushi

Linked to the formerly separate island of Gaamaadhoo by means of a sand spit, Himmafushi is home to a fantastic right-hand surf break known as Jailbreaks. Popular with daytrippers from neighbouring resorts, Himmafushi’s main street is crammed with souvenir shops supplying locally made rosewood carvings of manta rays, sharks and dolphins.
