About Cocos Island Grill and Cocktail Bar

Cocos Island Grill and Bar is one of the best restaurants to visit when you want to appreciate the spectacular view Hermanus has to offer. The restaurant overlooks the ocean and distant mountains all the way to Gansbaai. The relaxed and casual atmosphere is enhanced by couch-type seating in certain areas.

The restaurant and bar are open seven days a week, 365 days a year. The service is always of high standard and consistent, making it a popular place to eat out. The cuisine is varied with an island influence and a bit of South Africa sprinkled on top.

The menu covers everything from finger foods to a full a la carte menu. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and so Cocos offers health and traditional options with the possibility to add extra to your dish.

Sit down and have a quick bite with the extensive list of salads, nachos, toasties, burgers and casual meals. A basket of poppers is always a hit. Mains consist of grill options and seafood options. Spoil yourself with a dinner of sticky pineapple chicken, ended with a banana split – while enjoying the different types of cocktails available.

The bar offers their own beer and the whole ambiance changes over the weekend with an upbeat and lively DJ starting off the dance floor on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 pm. Cocos offers exceptional views, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, great food and a great vibe to enhance every day of the week.
