Town of Helderberg
Magical Gordon's Bay
The 5-star Villa Via Hotel and numerous adjoining restaurants is within easy walking distance of the hub of the quaint seaside village, which also offers weekend markets and numerous seafront restaurants. The reasonably priced guest houses, the tranquility and security, the spectacular north facing views across the entire Helderberg Mountains and False Bay, makes Gordon’s Bay the place to be.

Somerset West has the best!
A most exciting and adventurous town I visited in the Western Cape, South Africa. Located between the Helderberg Mountains and the ocean and surrounded by vineyards, olive and fruit orchards, golf courses, a nature reserve, craft markets and many varied other attractions like an animal sanctuary and hiking trails. It is a picturesque town steeped in historic significance, yet modern and appealing to every taste and provides excitement and adventure for all ages. A mall which caters for a shopper’s paradise and the area’s numerous restaurants that satisfies and delights every culinary interest....see more
Sunshine, mountains, wine and more...
Somerset West is overlooked by the imposing Helderberg (meaning "clear mountain"), a part of the Hottentots-Holland range of mountains. It was named Somerset after an English governor of the Cape Colony during the 1800s, Lord Charles Henry SomersetSomerset...see more
