About Cats se Pad Hiking Trail
Cats se Pad Hiking Trail starts at Haute Cabrière wine estate and heads to the top of Franschhoek Pass. It follows the historic 1819 first wagon trail across the Franschhoek mountain. This is a 3 km trail and easy enough, so bring the kids along. Permits can be bought as well as the optional hiking trails map. Excellent introduction to Cape fynbos flora and a very nice panoramic views of Franschhoek valley.
