Cederberg Reviews

Citrusdal Citrusdal
Town of Cederberg

Gateway to Cederberg
The people are very friendly in Citrusdal. Not much to do in Citrusdal but lovely places around Citrusdal. Went to the Cederberg, about 30 minutes away. Gravel roads but no problem with that. On Piekeniers pass some nice coffee shops with excellent food.

Beautiful destination
I absolutely loved the Cederberg. If you are a nature enthusiast then I would definitely recommend visiting these mountains.

A world of its own
Coming in via niewoudt pass a new Valley with a diff. Athmosphere was opening. After driving through or over Uitkyk Pass another variety is opening. You so many rocks were you will go to, just to look what is after. You climb on one hill and there it is - the moon. That is what it looks like. Cederberg is absolut a must be for active people. Its great, its challenging and its part of history. Its like a never ending place who wants to show.

Clanwilliam Clanwilliam
Town of Cederberg

Natures Place
This is the town you cannot past during spring timeYou can do everything from flower tours in the Ramskop Nature Reserve, tour the Rooibos factory and buying shoes from the Strassberger Shoe Factory. Bird watshing in the afternoon and wathing the sunset before doing a braai. Before you go to sleep you can sit still with a glass of the Cederberg wine and listern to the night animals.

The Cederberg Rocks - o yeah!
The Cederberg calls me back again and again. Our best experience was overnight in Spout Cave shortly after it had snowed in the area! The snow protea which we saw in January was truly amazing. The crystal clear night skies offer superb opportunities for star-gazing. I rate Cederberg the best holiday environment for the outdoor enthusiast.
