Graskop

Graskop

Town of Panorama Route Road Trip

Gateway to God's Window, Blyde River Canyon & Kruger NP

Graskop is a friendly town with all the necessary amenities, is located at an altitude of 1430m and conveniently situated in the middle of Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon (45 minutes each way). The lush green mountains and valleys come from an ideal climate of 15/18 degrees in winter and 21/25 degrees in summer; and the rainfall produces spectacular river systems and waterfalls. The dramatic scenery to be viewed along the Panorama Route escarpment is known to be some of the best in South Africa, if not the best. In addition there are a multitude of sports and activities to... see more

Suburb of Port Edward

Port Edward

Port Edward is a secret treasure on the South Coast of Natal. The main source of revenue to the town is tourism and agriculture – here all the tropical fruits grow, mostly Macadamia nuts and bananas. Also lemons, oranges, paw paws, litchis and granadillas. We have a large coffee estate here – the most southern coffee estate in the World. Graaff-Reinet

Graaff-Reinet

Town of Karoo Heartland

The Gem of the Karoo

Graaff-Reinet is South Africa's 4th oldest town and is jam packed with museums, interesting architecture, friendly people and restaurants. The service is amazing and so is the Karoo Food not to mention local crafts. It is sourrounded by the Camdeboo National Park which is also well known for its picturesque Valley of Desolation. Well placed for a night or two on the way to the coast from Johannesburg but also well worth a visit as a destination.
