Suburb of Margate
Memorable holiday at Margate beach
I fondly remember strolling on the sand of the magnificent Margate beach. Even in October the water is warm enough to swim. The beach is one of South Africa's blue flag beaches. An accreditation a beach gets when it adheres to international standards, when comes to cleanliness, safety and amenities.Margate beach has a lot to offer. You can swim, surf, sunbathe, dive or try your luck at fishing. There are a few restaurants with a view on the beach and lots of accommodation right on the beach. Nearby you will find supermarkets, golf courses, hiking trail etc. All you need for a great family holi...see more

Town of Western Cape
Consider this; tranquility beyond equal, breathtaking views, activities for the entire family from small to big, whale watching that makes life worth living, extremely safe in every aspect, best fishing and well controlled estuary in RSA that all ages and genders can enjoy and appreciate. The shops etc. are well equipped with most provisional necessities and some. The worst part of Witsand is when you have to leave and start planning for next time. Simply! There are very few spots in the world never-mind South Africa that can equal or better Witsands.

Town of West Coast
A little piece of Greece!
My husband introduced me to Paternoster years ago, as in his university holidays he used to work as a barman at Paternoster Hotel for Johan Carossini who is still the owner now. Paternoster looks like a Greek Island - white washed houses with colourful shutters and all houses are a skip and a jump to the unspoilt sandy white beaches. Crayfish is on tap at a pittance and eventually you cannot eat anymore!! This picturesque West Coast "fishing village" is a holiday for all ages. Every morning the locals launch their brightly coloured fishing boats to make their catch of the day. Restaur...see more
