Perfect beach and estuary - great for fishing. It is nice and quiet. They need a good food shop but Heidelberg, Swellendam and Riversdal are not too far. Friendly people and a very good Easter market!

A truly peaceful and beautiful destination with wonderful sea views and an abundance of fish in the Breeede River. Great boating venue and sunny weather.

Witsand is a holiday village with beautiful houses. The town is well-kept, clean and neat. The beach is beautiful, full of shells, and about 5 km long. The bay was thronged with whales in September.
