Truly South African

We thoroughly enjoyed the culture and the friendly nature of the people and not lots of western influence which is fantastic, and we were very humbled by the manner in which we were received.
Quiet town in the middle of the wine region

We think Wellington is often forgotten, with popular places like Paarl and Franschhoek nearby. Wellington is a quiet place, not hectic like Paarl and not posh like Franschhoek. Wellington has a very good Tourist Information with lots of brochures and information about the town and region. There are also nice supermarkets in the town.
