Velddrif is the hidden secret of the West Coast. A springboard to flower spots during the flower season. Explore the wine farms and view the ample bird life. It is delightful at the harbour restaurant and there is inexpensive boating on the lagoon.

Velddrif is a quiet and slow-moving village that is the ideal destination for a relaxed weekend away. It has lovely beaches and scenery.

Visit the salt pans that produce South Africa’s Cerebos salt while enjoying seaside fun in the sun. Walk on the beach or in the wetlands to view some of South Africa’s diverse bird life.
