Uvongo Travel Guide

This very friendly Hibiscus Coast town offers beautiful, unspoilt beaches bringing with them popular fishing spots, amazing views and unsurpassed natural beauty.

Uvongo got its name from the Ivungu River with it's majestic waterfall that plummets 23 m down into the lagoon. This natural process is the main reason for the lagoon being one of the deepest.

An abundance of flora frames the beaches. The waters around this part of the country lend themselcves to a myriad of watersport opportunities and the pedal boats for hire are serve as ideal river exploration vehicles.
