Makarios is perfect for group bookings, not for romantic stays. They offer bulk accomnodation and is only self catering, no catering is available upon request. However we had a lovely time and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. We were lucky to have the whole camp to ourselves and enjoy nature in privacy. — Eugene Valentine, South Africa

Our stay was fantastic, Candy, Darren and their staff couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. The place was completely without fault, we would recommend it to anyone, and won't hesitate to return for a longer stay next time.
Foy's Battlefield tour was extremely informative and entertaining, we found him the perfect host, and the Zulu evening was great in spite of a thunderstorm.
All in all, possibly the best 'stay' we've had in 42 countries!!!

We had a fantastic time in Mosselrivier in Langebaan and would recommend it wholeheartedly. The house is very close to the main beach and to the town centre. We would have preferred it to have been right on the beach with sea view, but it was the next best thing and a nearly perfect location.
