A hideout for the tired

Enjoyed the stay. Will recommend it to anyone who needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Stilbaai is so friendly and relaxed. Locals cannot do enough for you and are super friendly and talkative. The pubs and restaurants offer good value for money and lots of new and pleasant people to meet. Loved Stilbaai and will visit again anytime.

We were so amazed how beautiful this little town is. We enjoyed it being tucked away with not too many people, although it was after New Year. There are many possibilities for relaxing, such as the lovely beach and river for walking, jogging, cycling, water sports, driving around the vicinity and of course, sleeping. It would be great to have a bigger restaurant though as there is not much there at the moment.

If you're dependent on restaurants or cafes for food, this is not the place for you. If you like the beaches, rather try to find a self-catering place. We found the town a bit depressing and there really isn't much to do.

Stilbaai is a beautiful town. We would've liked to see a prominent information centre to advise on the activities in Stilbaai.
