Stanford village

We loved Stanford for its tranquility and beauty surrounded by the Overberg mountains. Its an expensive little place and its townfolk are generally unfriendly. We found one place, Serendipity, an eatery in the town where we were made to feel welcome and would love to return there again. Accommondation is abundant in the village and the walks are wonderful.

Sweet little town, enjoyed cheese farm and beaches. Not a metropolis but then you dont go there for that.
A great place to escape to

Stanford is a charming village, but don't rely on the local ATM to supply you with cash - fortunately the locals are used to this problem and will go out of their way to accommodate you.
A together little town

A great little town with beautiful character and historical buildings. Lovely architecture. The antique shops creates that extra authenticity in the town. Nightlife not recommended as this will ruin what Stanford stands for - history.
