We are in love with everything about the South Coast especially St Michaels on the Sea. The people are friendly and everything is very convenient. All you need just on your doorstep. It's definitely my favourite local holiday destination.

We loved our visit to St Michaels!! Stayed in lovely affordable self-catering apartment. Very near to the beach and shopping centres. Lovely beach with grass and restaurant to chill out!

St. Michaels-on-sea is a small, tranquil seaside hamlet between Shelly Beach and Uvongo offering picturesque scenery and its renowned beach with plenty of lawns for families and picnics and ample parking.
Popular with both swimmers and surfers, the surf enjoys fantastic swells and large waves that host surfing competitions, while the beach is protected and gentle and has shark nets and lifeguards.
There are also popular fishing spots, a lagoon, tuck-shops, restaurants and bars to be found at the beach. With easy access to shopping and boating at Shelly beach, or the for the unique gorge waterfall beach, cuisine and entertainment in Uvongo, or for its own attractions, St. Mikes is an ideal setting for holidaymakers.
