You have to see Kruger Park from a proper game vehicle unless you have a 4x4 to take you down the dirt roads. The southern part has a vast amount of wildlife and each day something new appears. You will never be bored in the park but children may suffer from the heat and get bored driving around as sometimes you will travel down a road and see nothing at all. It helps to be friendly and stop vehicles going in the opposite direction to ask what is down the road and mostly that's how you find the extraordinary - mating pair of lions and one week old baby elephant.

Very beautiful location - many animal views in three days - unfortunately there were many sideroads closed because of heavy rains - perfect safari.

The area is very dry and there are not a lot of animals, only a handful of each kind. There is not a large range of animals.

This is the best part of the Kruger when searching for cats, lions in particular. It is very clean and most of the roads are nicely maintained. Once again I had a great nature experience and will most definitely return. The staff are a bit unfriendly at gates towards the local day visitors.
