Directions to The Bell at Fernwood Lodge

Directions: FROM JOHANNESBURG Johannesburg to Van Reenen’s Pass on the N3. Take the first glide off after the Tugela Toll Plaza, which is at the bottom of Van Reenen’s Pass. Turn right towards Bergville onto the R616. You will cross over the N3 concrete highway. At Bergville turn left towards Winterton. In Winterton, opposite the Engen garage, turn right onto the R600 Central Drakensberg road. Proceed for +/- 13 km to the crossroad junction. Cross straight over and proceed for approximately 18 km. Travel straight on towards Champagne Castle Hotel. You will pass the Nest Hotel, Champagne Sport Resort and Drakensberg Boys Choir. Travel up the S-bend, now… Look for the Fernwood Lodge/FAK Jeugsentrum sign - large green wall with gold writing on the right-hand side. FROM DURBAN Travel along the N3 towards Johannesburg, pass Shell Ultra City and take the Bergville/Colenso glide off (R74) Continue left towards Winterton for 20km. Opposite the Engen Service Station, turn left onto the R600 Central Drakensberg Road. Proceed for approximately 13km to the crossroad. Cross straight over and travel for +/- 11km. Champagne Sports Resort is on your left. Travel on towards Champagne Castle Hotel past the Drakensberg Boys Choir. Travel up the S-bend, now… Look for the Fernwood Lodge/FAK Jeugsentrum sign - large green wall with gold writing on the right-hand side.
