Directions to Baobab Game Ranch

Baobab is situated 220km from Johannesburg and 180km north of Pretoria in the area Sterkrivier, in the Waterberg District. From Johannesburg take the N1 North towards Polokwane (Pietersburg). After the 3rd tollgate take the Mookgopong R101 (Naboomspruit) off ramp. The road (R101) will take you through Mookgopong (Naboomspruit), after exiting Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) travel on the R101 for 33km until the Sterkrivier turnoff to the left is reached. Turn left at the Sterkrivier / Doorndraaidam road. Travel for 17.4kms, the gate to the farm is on the right hand side, 300 meters pass the Doorndraai Dam gravel road turnoff. Once inside the farm area, follow the signs to the camp. Travelling from Polokwane the Sterkrivier turnoff is located 18kms from Mokopane (Potgietersrus) travelling towards Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) on the R101 (alternate route to the N1).
