Rather just a stopover

I cant say that Pongola is much of a destination, more a stopover on your way to Mozambique. It's mainly an agricultural town surrounded by sugar cane plantations and the most life in town is the many gas stations mainly catering for the large amounts of trucks passing through. I did notice some game ranches around there but can't comment on that.
