This is a tranquil expanse of a beautiful white beach surrounded by mountains and natural forest. The little village is settled amongst the trees and has a warm feel about it. It's also the end of the famous Otter Trail. And you cannot end the hike with a shooter from the Nature's Valley Pub!

Set right below the Groot River pass and hidden among the trees, this riverside village is peaceful and most definitely the closest to nature I have ever been. Here you hear and see the fish eagles, the rustle of the leaves as the wind passes through, or make a wish as you gaze at the many stars! This natural paradise is nothing like I've ever experienced before!
