For our 5 days visit to this area we noticed and liked the quietness of the neighborhood. The MyCiti buses are convenient, punctual and reliable. The sea breeze and golf courses in Milnerton makes it the ideal place for property retirement / investment. The Sunset beach is an attraction of all the surfers. And the full of Table Mountain made us think of relocating.

Own Experience
I have had an excellent holiday in Milnerton because it was very quiet there for me. Fuethermore I had an excellent view from my room in Vrede Manor ... 8 minutes from my place and I am already in the City Centre with your excellent transport ... I just enjoyed being in Milnerton and the facilities present there such as hotels, supermarkets and the beach

What could be better? Near to the city centre, close to The Waterfront with its long not overcrowded beaches and the beautiful and changable Table Mountain as a back drop. Perfect for long walks and several good restaurants within walking distance. Golf course and tennis courts add to the attraction as does the good surf. The easy way of living in a wonderful climate with friendly people and easy access to what Cape Town can offer. A well kept secret jewel of the Cape!

Milnerton is a green, quiet and safe suburb of Cape Town on the shore of Table Bay.
If you are here for vacation or holidays and want to explore the City and its surroundings, or if you are here on business and just want to relax after your meetings, Milnerton offers the perfect place for your stay.
As a holiday-maker you will find possibilities for lots of activities: the nearby beach stretches for about 40 km (25 miles) and invites not only for tanning or swimming. It is the perfect spot for long walks, kite-surfing or other water sports. Because of its ideal winds and white-crested waves it became a paradise for surfers from all over the world. From this beach you will have the famous view to Cape Town and Table Mountain which you find on many picture postcards.
Since May 2011 a brand-new Express bus system is connecting Milnerton with the center of Cape Town (about 11 km away from the V&A Waterfront or to the Cape Town International Convention Center, from where you can also connect to the airport. Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden or Cape Town International Airport are about 20 minutes drive from here.
The commercial areas Montague Gardens, Marconi Beam, Century City, Killarney Gardens and Paarden Eiland are each only a very short drive away, which makes Milnerton the first choice when you need to do some business there.
You will find the well-known Milnerton Golf Course, an 18-hole, par 72 seaside course, nestled between the Atlantic ocean and the Rietvlei river, here you will meet international golfers.
The Rietvlei is a popular birding spot.
Shopping fans can do so in some malls in Milnerton, especially at the biggest one in South Africa: Canal Walk.

Milnerton is great. It is 10 km from V&A Waterfront, quiet and has the premier shopping centre of Cape Town, Canal Walk, right next to the freeway with easy access. Milnerton is right on the coast, easy to navigate and access a beach.

Watch the sun going down over the bay; an absolute must see. Try the good food at Maestro's Restaurant.
