Pereybere has it all - Pereybere has the best beach for swimming and you can kayak, take a speedboat out for snorkelling at the reef or a bit of tubing. You can mix with the locals and there is often a bunch of people singing and having a good time on the weekends. There are plenty of great restaurants, so don’t judge a book by its cover. Try the Sealover’s for a stunning view or Guido's Pizza out the front of the Sealover’s/Red Cat Bar. He may even sing to you while he is making you a real pizza or an amazing mojito. Also try the No Stress Bar; it has great food, music and hosts. Winners Supermarket has everything you need and the bakery next door has divine chocolate muffins. Taxis are a plenty and the buses are frequent too.

Pereybere Town of The North

Pereybere .... and island gem - Pereybere has the most beautiful public beach with lots of food stalls and beach entertainment. There is a convenience store close to the beach, a bus stop and a taxi stand. All you need in one!!

Belle Mare Town of The East

Belle Mare - peaceful - Belle Mare is a beautiful fishing village. The locals are very friendly and not many tourists go there. The fishing is good. The snorkeling is also good. Take a trip to Blue Bay and go snorkel there. Take a Catamaran to Ile aux cerfs and enjoy a braai on the island (lobsters). There is also a beautiful golf course in Belle Mare. Trou de Douce has a lovely beach if you want to spend some time there. You can hire a scooter for 900 rupees per day. It rains more in the West than in the East, so you might find the clouds in Belle Mare annoying ;- ) but then just take a short drive to another beach. Belle Mare is a chill place. No clubs and pubs and parties going on (excluding the few hotels). Just take the time to relax in Belle Mare.
