Matobo Hills World Heritage Site of Matobo National Park

Rock magic - The recent fire meant very little game was seen, but the rock formations are always magical and breathtaking. Unfortunately the female gate attendant was rude, unhelpful and disinterested - not qualified for tourism.

Magical Matopos - The Matopos really is the most magnificent sight in Africa. With amazing landscapes of the unique rocks and dwalas, the best place to view the Matopos is from the well-appointed Camp Amalinda. Nestled into the granite, this camp is a unique and luxurious get away in one of the world's most spiritual areas.

Amazing destination - The Matobo Hills is a place that we all would love to return to - as a destination, we think it's magical - but concerned that it will turn into a luxury type Sabi Sabi that SAfricans will not be able to afford! We found Zim extremely pricey, and the police stops were unfortunate.
