Amazing destination

The Matobo Hills is a place that we all would love to return to - as a destination, we think it's magical - but concerned that it will turn into a luxury type Sabi Sabi that SAfricans will not be able to afford!
We found Zim extremely pricey, and the police stops were unfortunate.

For a South African it costs $27 per person plus $10 for the vehicle, totaling $37 or about R300, to see Rhodes's grave which is nothing but a slab of granite in a rock. A total rip-off!

The hills, kopje and history of the area were fascinating. Great views and plenty of wildlife.
