It must be stressed that people coming from Namibia do need a passport! This is not clear on the Sanparks website. The times of the border gate created a problem, especially with the time difference between SA and Namibia - we had to be out of the park by 15.30 Namibian time. But it is a good entry point from Namibia. As we did not stay there, we cannot comment on the campsite and facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly! We found the layout of the waterhole a disappointment. We could not get a booking for 2 consecutive nights, but had left it a bit late.
