04 April 2011 Thank you so much for such wonderful hospitality. We felt right at home and welcomed. The overall treatment from the staff was professional and heartwarming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food far better than a 5 Star hotel. The game drives were spectacular. We saw a vast variety of buck, crocodile, hippo and more. Thank you Ubumanzi staff - all of you are jewels. We will definitely come and visit you again in the near future. Ubumanzi was an oasis in Mother Nature's hideaway.
Thanks Ubumanzi

06 December 2010 We had a fantastic time. The organisation by the guide Mishak
for meals game drives. Everything was amazing. The amount of knowledge he imparted about surroundings and nature was fantastic. The food was delicious and timeous the setting of the lodge and the lodge itself is homely clean and well decorated. It makes one feel special and gives that "holiday feeling". Alfius, the driver of the game vehicle also did a great job. It was my mother's birthday celebration and they went out of their way and made us a beautiful cake. Thanks Ubumanzi.
Very relaxing

23 August 2010 We had a very relaxing weekend. The children enjoyed the nature walk with Meschak, the ranger, who is very informative and even the adults learned a lot. Lizzy and her food, only one word, awesome. The stay at Ubumanzi was relaxing, the personnel friendly and attentive and we will definitely be visiting again.

23 August 2010 Our stay at Ubumanzi was absolutely fantastic. We were extremely impressed by their hospitality, friendliness and professionalism. This lodge has managed to pay attention to the little things that make such a big difference. Impressive and worthy of a great reputation in the hospitality industry.

05 August 2008 Had a lovely relaxing weekend. Neil and Selomie most welcoming and Stanley & Lucas very willing.
The perfect nature getaway for a busy city dweller.

09 June 2008 I've tried several game lodges in the Waterberg, but this one definitely has character!
The setting is great, the mountains, dams and fields are scenic and diverse enough to provide habitat for different game species. They also have access to their next door neighbour's property, which doubles the game viewing area and adds on the scenic landscape.
I especially enjoyed the lodge for being small, cosy and quiet. Having said that - the thatched rooms are generous in space and decorated with excellent taste. Same for the lounge and boma areas.
One of the best things was being able to arrange all the activities at your own convenience (and not necessarily at 5 am on winter Sunday morning). Viewing such abundance of game was a nice extra - anything from klipspringer to giraffe. They even have a rhino family. Wildlife photography was not my first priority for the weekend, so I didn't mind some of the buck shying away due to previous experience with hunters.
