We had such a wonderful time. Marula Bush Lodge was a home away from home and just absolutely stunning - they really have thought of everything. We will definitely be back.

Marula Bush Lodge
Marula Bush Lodge is a luxury bushveld retreat nestled gently on the foot of the Drakensberg Mountain Escarpment. This beautiful private bush lodge is situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, just a few minutes from the quaint town of Hoedspruit - a typical tourist town in the heart of the Greater Kruger National Park.

The lodge is conveniently situated an easy 45-minute drive from both the Phalaborwa Gate and the Orpen Gate to the Kruger National Park. It is 450 km from Johannesburg, or you may choose to take a plane to Eastgate Airport, an international airport only 16 km out of Hoedspruit.

Go for a walk in nature or a game drive and discover the wide variety of birds and wildlife species that are found on the Estate - there are also two elevated bird hides overlooking dams - then relax on your patio and sip sundowners while watching the magnificent sunset.

Activities on the premises also include: Bird watching, walking, cycling and horse riding.

Ballooning 10 km, Micro lighting 5 km, river rafting 25 km, Blyde dam Boat cruises 25 km, Drakensig Golf course 5 km, Early morning walk with the cheetahs 8 km, Elephant Back safari's 10 km.
