Disappointing

The pictures shown of the rooms and the actual rooms are totally different. The outside is quite nice, but the worn out linen and very distateful furniture of the duplex chalets will prevent me from going back.

This place is the pits. Overnight rooms are in an OLD DORMITORY. Needs repairs: no plug in bowl, no hangers, lights out twice, rusted shower rail, drilling, TV on/off, TV guy in/out and still snow. Final straw no water for toilet. After 5 complaints, at 9pm, dark outside, I was offered refund or upgrade that cost me an extra R 150.

Lagoon Chalets and Caravan Park offers self-catering accommodation and camping in Meersig, Walvis Bay. Only 500 m away from a beautiful lagoon, in a quiet secluded area, you’ll find our well-positioned self-contained complex of holiday chalets.

Guests have a choice of one- or two-bedroom chalets as well as double-storey chalets and VIP units. Each chalet is equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, fridge and basic cooking and eating utensils. Bedding is also supplied. The chalets offer hotel bouquet DStv and braai facilities are provided. A freezer, towels and a microwave are available on request, and some of the chalets have lock-up garages. The campsite offers well-maintained ablution facilities with hot and cold water, electricity, wash lines and braai facilities.

Lagoon Chalets and Caravan Park is very secure and is protected by an electrified fence, armed response and a security guard. A coin-operated laundry facility is available on the premises, and a newly completed coffee shop and restaurant are now available. We are also in the process of building a play park.

Lagoon Chalets and Caravan Park is located close to the local sports club which offers bowls, tennis, soft ball and squash. The golf course and water sports are close by, and for fisherman, one of the prime fishing spots is a mere 15 km drive away.
