We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I can highly recommend Stornoway Lodge. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated.

We enjoyed our stay very much on Valentine’s Day. The spacious living area and self-catering facilities makes it a home away from home after a long day's work.

Tranquil and yet so close to the city.

We booked Stornoway as it is close to Rhenosterspruit Nature Reserve where our son was having his wedding on a private farm. The accommodation is most spacious and very comfortable. We had booked a superior room and a silo for two couples. Unfortunately the power in the superior room went out on the Friday night, but Paula, the owner, was very quickly on the scene and when the problem was not quickly rectified she moved us into the adjacent unit which was the Executive Suite with Jacuzzi bath, which we then enjoyed for the rest of our stay. Most definitely value for money and highly recommended!

Thank you for having us. Your place was absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to stay at. The rooms are more than spacious with all the necessary amenities for comfortable self catering. A really enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed a family reunion at Stornoway Lodge, in a very comfortable spacious accommodation and a delightful setting. Drinks on the verandah with Paula, Alan and family, in front of the beautiful thatched home and overlooking the pond, were the highlight for us adults while canoeing on the pond with kids her age was "the best" for our 9-year old daughter. And there was so much to do in the area, we could have spent another 5 days there. Would do it all over again!

It was a good stay. The lodge was good. The owners knows what they are doing. They just need to add a restaurant for convenience. Otherwise I was more than happy.
