Well, apart from the place being clean and the bed comfortable, leaving you with a good nights sleep, nothing else about this place was what we expected. Things for other visitors to note: 1) this apartment is in a business part complex! 2) it does by no means have a romantic feel - long apartment with the only windows being at either end of the place 3) there is no view, other than a brick wall with 5cm view of the Franschhoek mountains above - not quite what you expect when going away to Franschhoek for the weekend! 4) The toilet doesn't flush properly and the doors don't lock properly either. It is definitely not worth the money spent and we will definitely not be returning here again! We asked asked around in Franshhoek and came across much better accommodation (with amazing views) for the same price! Huge disappointment but at least we have found alternatives for the future.

Firstly there was no indication that the keys are to be collected at the African Art Gallery and not at the apartments. Then the door would not unlock and even when we eventually managed to force the key to turn, we could not lock the door, so we had to push the coffee table against the door to give us some security. There was not enough hot water to have a bath and a shower, my partner had a bath I had a cold shower. No coffee or tea for the morning. The place is well equipped and very pretty but I won't be back. We had nothing but trouble. We did not even stay the second night.

It was a great luxurious place. It's nice with peace and quiet and a great homely feeling - it's like home-away-from-home. You feel so comfortable.
