James is the most wonderful, free spirit host we ever met. Our room was more than we expected. We received such warm and friendly service. It felt like we were at home, and the staff were friendly and very cheerful. Thanks to James and his support staff for a wonderful and memorable stay in Cape Town. Needless to say, Cheviot Place is now our favourite guesthouse and we shall make it our regular place whenever in Cape Town. Thanks James and Co.

Perfectly situated on the slopes of Signal Hill, overlooking Table Bay and Robben Island, Cheviot Place will provide you with a haven of tranquility. Sit back and let the sun, beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere soothe you in this welcoming 101-year-old Victorian-style home.

The six en-suite bedrooms are light, spacious and comfortably decorated. The private balconies or secluded patio areas will leave you with a peaceful experience. All the rooms are equipped with TVs, phones, wireless Internet access, fans or heaters and complimentary tea and coffee trays. With Cheviot Place being situated in the quiet suburb of Green Point, the unique views of the Atlantic are ever changing.

The upstairs viewing area allows great opportunities of sunsets and the downstairs book lounge is a wonderful place to relax, read and to meet travelling enthusiasts at your leisure. We also offer off-street parking. Children are welcome by arrangement only.

Green Point is centrally located, with stunning beaches and a bustling night life. Cheviot Place is close to the CTICC, the V&A Waterfront and the famous Table Mountain.
