The outside sitting area is just lovely - very peaceful and the location is just a few blocks from the lagoon. My room was large and clean. I felt safe walking around the area by myself.

Although Walvis Bay is not regarded as 'touristy', compared to its neighbour Swakopmund, if you need to stay in Walvis Bay, 1932 guesthouse is the answer. It is charming, comfortable and has all the amenities and facilities - DSTV, WiFi, honour bar, comfortable rooms, use of kitchen,and five minutes from anywhere. The staff were friendly, helpful and facilitating. Would highly recommend this safe and inviting 'home away from home.'

Don't judge this guest house from the outside! Very very comfortable space and newly upgraded.

Our room was a little small for a four-night stay, but beautiful. Crisp cotton linen with a chocolate on our pillows! Friendly and helpful staff. Elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. Situated an easy stroll away from the lagoon.
