If only the road could be better im sure it will atrack much more. TV can be put in to the room, it will also be an advantage to relax. The place and the people are great, the food was good and the horseride was as good. Will sure go again.

We stayed for one night and had a lovely time. It was peaceful and just what we needed. The people at Bokpoort are very helpful. The accommodation is rustic but still comfortable.

Bokpoort Horseback Holiday Farm offers a blend of rustic cowboy adventures and character combined with traditional South African landscapes. We offer guests the opportunity to "rough it" with a hint of luxury, and to let the mind, body and spirit run free within the raw beauty of South African nature.

Accommodation consists of cosy Chalets, Backpacker dormitories and Campsites. All Chalets are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, some with wood-burning fireplaces, and kitchenettes. Five of the units are self-catering, although Bokpoort does provide breakfast, lunch and dinner which can be enjoyed in a down-to-earth communal setting. Each accommodation facility also boasts incredible views of the Free State bushveld and mountain range.

The dormitories are a fun-filled budget accommodation option that sleeps up to 16 people. The communal kitchen is equipped with a fridge, kettle, gas plates and a large inviting braai, and a spotless ablution block is also available. Guests must bring their own bedding, cutlery and crockery. This form of accommodation is ideal for school groups or adventure seekers. The farm also offers nature camping experiences. Up to 40 people can camp on the Bokpoort premises and electricity is available for those that require it. Bathrooms are provided in an ablution block nearby.

The activities at Bokpoort holiday and adventure farm are exciting and spectacular. There is something available for everyone, ranging from children to the experienced and inexperienced. We specialize in horseback activities. What makes Bokpoort so unique and special is that guests have the freedom to do whatever they like, whether it be adventuring, socializing at the Bokpoort bar, or simply relaxing on their patio while taking in the views of the countryside.
