Die naweek by Phefumula was so romanties en net die regte plek om ons 17e huweliksherdenking te kon vier! Ons sal beslis weer terug gaan! 'n Meer romantiese en privaat plek gaan nie maklik gevind word nie!

There are only 2 cottages, but you are not even aware of your neighbours. The cottages are to far apart. The cottages are well appointed with lots of small extras everywhere. We were well received upon arrival. They are good at giving you privacy and make an "appointment" to service the unit, so there are no surprises. There are not much to do directly at Phefumula, except hiking, or mountain biking, but then you must bring your own bike. They can arrange in room spa treatments, but this is by an outside supplier (we did not use this, so cannot comment). There are many other activities in the area, so if you want there's lots to do. We however wanted a peaceful break, and that is what we got. It is recommended for a romantic getaway. The outside shower and private jacuzzi makes it that much more special. It is also very scluded and safety was not a concern. Note that there is no TV and to be honest, I think that would spoil it.

All I can say is it's a perfect getaway for a couple. It was peaceful, quiet and extremely private. That's what impressed me the most. We are looking forward to visiting Phefumula again. We would like to thank all the personnel for such a pleasent stay.

I found Phefumula by chance on the net and was a bit worried initially because it really looked like the perfect honeymoon hideaway in the bush and I was looking for a more relaxing getaway to recharge my batteries and do a bit of walking with a friend. I am so glad I booked what a wonderful place with superior food and excellent service from Dave, Jenni and Elias who ensured that our every whim was catered for. I will most definitely return!

This is a beautiful place with breathtaking views of the Magaliesburg Mountain. The atmosphere is peaceful and romantic. We had a relaxing and lovely stay at the cottage. Great hosts and good service. We will be planning another trip there soon.

We did not know what to expect, what a wonderful surprize when we got there. Warm reception, very quiet, we got to relax and not worry about anything. Thank you for a absolutely perfect weekend.

Wow, the place is breathtaking. Perfect place to have a romantic getaway. The privacy, serenity, tranquility - and the list just goes on. The hosts and the staff are very welcoming and do their best to make your stay hassle free. The food was great, as well the rooms. Everything was perfect. This little gem is the ideal place for a romantic getaway. We fell in love with the place from the moment we stepped inside the cottage. The food was great and the total privacy was an absolute plus point. We advise anybody who wants a romantic weekend away to try Phefumula - you will not be disappointed!
