A few days before our stay we received an e-mail from staff at Anandi about an over booking situation at their location and they had moved us to a near-by resort that was an upgrade that they paid for. Turned out well in the end for everyone, last minute change was done very professionally and with the customer in mind.

iT NEEDS URGENT A REVAMP - LOFT MATASSES NOT GOOD - CHAIRS BROKEN - AIRCON NOT WORKING - PAINT FROM OUTSIDE IS GOING OFF - DEFINATELY TOTAL DIFFERENT THAN THE WEBSITE PICTURES - OVERALL IMPRESSION - NEEDS A LOT OF ATTENTION

We only stayed one night as a sleep over between Swakop and RSA but was impressed with how neat and tidy the place was. It was very easy to find and to get out again onto the main high way. Would definitely recommend them

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Restaurant available on site but staff decided not to make dinner for the night and left early.

Basic but not nice rooms

Good stop over and friendly hosts. An Oasis after travelling through the arid landscape.

Ons was beindruk met die algemene netheid van die tuin en parkeerarea. Die eetkamer was netjies en die geriewe uitstekend. Die stortkop wat gebruik word om hare te was kon nie toedraai nie en het ook gespuit wanneer daar gestort word.

I have stayed at Anandi some times before. The staff is very nice and friendly. If I submit everything as price, cleanless, location, food and staff, I will say, stay at Anandi!

Enjoyed the friendly cat and little fox terrier. No complaints, nothing to be altered.

Die baie gerieflike kamer en mooi moderne badkamer, asook die rustige braai wat ons kon maak na n lang dag op die pad.

Eher einfache Unterkunft. Mariental hat kaum Restaurants.

We were not very impressed with our room at first as it was a long way from the parking, was small and not attractively furnished but it had all the most important things - comfortable bed, hot water, a fridge, WiFi and air con. There was Also a Tv with DSTV. All these things worked well which is not always the case. Also the staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent so we ended up enjoying our stay.

Will go back, just remember to book dinner in advance.

A small kitchen would've been nice and practical.

It was really hot in Jan and our whole family got into the pool. They helped us to set up the braai so that it was closer to our unit. Staff and everyone working at Anandi Mariental was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at Anandi again.

Super friendly staff and manager, neat rooms around a welcome green courtyard space. 

Our two nights stay (out and back) was most enjoyable and Elsa was a most charming and accommodating manageress. She went out of her way to assist us which went beyond the normal call of duty!

• It was a great two days of rest after a long trip from SA.

da ich nur einen zwischenstopp hatte, war es okay. empfang war nicht sehr freundlich, bett hat gequietscht, frühstück war sehr einfach und nur billige sachen.

I am so grateful for the management and staff at Anandi. We were on our way to stay there for a night when we had a vehicle problem. They were so kind to call around on our behalf and found us just the assistance we needed so we could get back on the road and make it to Anandi for the night. On top of that, the manager showed great concern for us personally instead of treating us like nobodies. I highly recommend staying there. 

The reception was friendly and the room very need and clean and the bathroom as well even had a big jet Bath .lovely

Pictures on the internet give a wrong impression.Found the room to be shabby not very clean, found a bunch of human hair between the bed and the wall.

Could not bring myself to undress and climb into bed - slept on top in my clothes

Our children were very disappointed because there was no swimming pool and it was very hot. In the description of the b&b a pool was mentioned. But the staff was very friendly and the rooms are clean.

Excellent value for money. The luxury accommodation is a great option.

Baie teleurstellend. Eerste plek het hulle nie geweet van ons bespreking nie, nadat al my papierwerk vir hulle gegee is het hulle ons na 'n kamer gevat. Die toilet was vuil en die kamer het gestink - amper iets soos ou olie. Ons wou die swembad gaan gebruik het net om te sien dat dit soos 'n visdam lyk, ons het daar en dan besluit om eerder ander blyplek te gaan soek, wat ons toe gedoen het. Wat jy op die foto's sien is defnitief nie naastenby soos wat dit daar lyk nie. Sal defnitief nie die plek vir enige een aanbeveel nie.

I have stayed at Anandi twice now, and have truly enjoyed the stay both times. The rooms are spacious and the staff are very nice and helpful.

Lovely place to stay after a long day in the car. Friendly welcome, lovely garden, comfy rooms and a strong, hot shower - everything you could ask for. Just wish someone had mentioned the pool to us before we left the following morning. Elsa was wonderful and made us feel at home. Breakfast was great, so much so we came back for breakfast on our way past a week later. Would definitely recommend Anandi!

Whilst the staff are friendly and the room comfortable, it is situated right next to the N7 and we did not get any sleep due to the traffic noise.

We were very impressed with both the accommodation and the manner in which we were treated at Anandi. Without a doubt, I would recommend that a person stays there and their breakfasts are very well priced. Five star treatment for a five star stay.

Ons was aangenaam verras met die geriewe. Skoon, netjies, bekostigbaar en warm ontvangs. Sal weer daar oornag.

Friendly reception, assistance with the deep-freeze,a very comfortable room and bed with aircon,enjoyable braai with kameeldoring, good TV sport channels, safe parking. All needs met including a very restful sleep. Thank you Anandi!

The Manager, Elsa, was fantastic. My sister took ill there and she took us to the hospital as it was a Sunday, no chemist open. She went out her way to help us, and show compassion and concern, and walked the extra mile. The accommodation was tops with a beautiful garden and a wonderful receptionist, wish I could remember her name. Thank you for everything!!

We stayed in Anandi on Sunday 11/8/2013. The rooms were clean and water hot. There was coffee making facilities and aircon. The parking secure and the rooms separated from the rest of the road by a wall. Reception friendly. Everything and more a traveler could ask for. Very good value for money.

We had booked and paid in advance for a 1 night stay, including dinner, for 2 adults and 2 children. The food had been ordered in advance. When we arrived (in good time at 5pm Namibian time) we were told that the kitchen was closed for the day (Saturday evening!)When we showed then the proof of payment for the meal, they begrudgingly reopened the kitchen and the receptionist, with very bad grace, cooked us a "boarding school" meal of over cooked steak and veg. The bed was not clean either, not a great experience at all!

This B&B offered very spacious modern accommodation for the mid-range budget traveller. We enjoyed unwinding in the peaceful garden setting. Although it is situated close to the B1, it was not an issue for us.

Wat se wonderlike ontvangs het ons nie van Elsa gehad nie, Niks was vir haar te veel moeite nie. Toe ons wou braai het sy gesorg dat die braai vir ons na die grasperk getrek word met 'n heerlike sak vol hout, borde, messe en vurke met servette! Ons sal enige tyd weer by hulle oornag as ons in Mariental kom. Baie dankie, Elsa.

Friendly reception. The only thing that we really didn't enjoy: when we lifted our duvet, our sheets didn't smell to clean and there was long dark hairs on it. Other than that, we had a lovely stay. Thank you so much.

Alle komplimente aan Elsa wat ons so hartlik verwelkom het. Ons sal beslis vir Anandi, Mariental aanbeveel n' weer en n' daar gaan oorbly. 0ns het dit baie geniet daar. Die gasvryheid sommer al's!

Anandi is realy a home away from home. Lovely clean comfortable accommodation and a clean pool. Will recommend it to any one that travels that way.

A very big thank you to the Manageress and staff of Anandi Marienthal. We had a great welcome, staff were friendly and the room was in immaculate condition and a haven to relax after a 13 hour drive from South Afica. I would surely recommend this place to friends of mine. Thank you once again.

Clean and good facilities (fridge in room) with a spa bath/shower and little private courtyard. Sorry to miss the owners but the manager was helpful and it was a happy night.

Well located between the Kalahari and the Namib. But we were disappointed by this establishment: bedsheets were not changed and were dirty.

Wonderful stay with very friendly people and wonderful spa bath.

The rooms were comfortable, beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend Anandi Mariental to anyone.

Quality accommodation at a very reasonable price.

Enjoyed stay but on arrival found that booking for stay week later was not confirmed, was then confirmed at same price but on arrival a week later was charged R50 more.

Very comfortable and clean but a little noisy with passing trucks and bright lights back and front not great. But would recommend it for an overnight stay.

We felt so at home and special attention was paid to us, almost as if you were long standing friends.

We stayed overnight at Anandi Mariental on 17 December 2011. We liked the warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, nice room and green surroundings. The Tahiti restaurant around the corner was a disaster, but the next morning we enjoyed a good breakfast at Anandi. It proved to be an excellent place to rest from our flight from Europe and to prepare for our trip through Namibia.

I visited Anandi during July and can only say that I will go back there anytime. The rooms and service are absolutely fantastic. Thank you.
