Our stay at Anna Sophia was very delightful . it is a lush oasis in the Karoo with lovely plants and common areas to enjoy . The hosts are friendly and helpful . The accommodation is very good and specially liked the braai area . Very peaceful and serene . I can recommend to all . If I can name one negative....mosquitos....come prepared .

We were very happy with the accommodation and felt that all our needs were very adequately catered for. The cottage was cosy, secure and very private. We were intrigued with the unusual garden. Moira and Jan were very welcoming and ensured that our stay was conforatable and happy.

This is the second time I have slept over and enjoyed the previous stay. It was in an official capacity and one never seem to have enough time enjoying the quietness. This time around my wife and I was afforded the opportunity to stay in the best rooms available and we are sure that our next stop over will be Anna Sophia. With knowledgeable and friendly, helpful hosts like the Straus couple, you cannot go wrong.

This was our third visit and we will stop over there whenever we have to break our journey. We always get a wonderful welcome when we arrive and our two Labradors are very relaxed there. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the owners are prepared to go the extra mile for their guests.

What a fun place! Moira, our host, was friendly but unobtrusive, only there when you needed her. She suggested we go to an Organ recital at the town NG Church and we were very glad we did as she suggested. The organist was a talented doctor of music who came to Calitzdorp because of the 100 year old organ at the church! Our simle cottage was well equipped and Moira's decor and her garden was absolutely facinating.

We received a friendly reception from very helpful owners. The accommodation was spacious and neat. An air-conditioner is needed in the main bedroom and the TV channels could be upgraded to make the stay even better.

We enjoyed our stay and was welcomed by friendly hosts. Lovely cottages with all the necessary essentials handy. Many thanks for a great stay.
