We stayed at the Fat Pony with some friends and had a fun time. On arrival, we were helped by one of the riders and directed to check-in. As we walked into the kitchen, we were greeted by a girl using the oven to bake treats. The room was cool and the campsite a large lawn. The outdoor braai area is great for entertainment and protected from the sun by a huge shady tree. My friends say they can tick off camping in Kraaifontein from their bucket list. The establishment is actually surrounded by large plots and farms and located in Joostenbergvlakte. They have a great communal area and feature movie entertainment and music from time to time. We had a great stay and recommend it if you are looking for a laid-back and super friendly place to stay.
