Great stay

As South African resident I visit our game parks on a regular base. The Welgevonden Game Park made a big impression on me. It is a park that we can recommend to our friends. Our stay at the Ekuthuleni Lodge was great. The personal were very friendly and very professional. I would like to visit the same lodge in time to come.

Our stay was just what we needed....the venue was positioned over a plain which wildlife visited all the time,the rooms were lovely,the service friendly with great food and attentive knowledgeable staff! The game viewing was great and the ranger was extremely respectful of the animals in their natural environment. We had a wonderful, restful and romantic weekend!

Ekuthuleni Lodge
Ekuthuleni, Place of Peace in the indigenous Zulu tongue, nestles in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains in South Africa's Northern Province. It is part of the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, a malaria free, wildlife sanctuary covering some 33 000 hectares. Ekuthuleni Lodge offers total privacy to exclusive parties of up to ten people. Larger conference groups may be accommodated by special arrangement. Each of Ekuthuleni Lodge's five intimate, fully en-suite lodges offers a private vista.

Rates Include exclusive accommodation, three meals a day, tea/coffee/cakes, two game drives and a guided walk on foot in the spoor of the big five.

Rates exclude personal bar account and cigars, curio shop purchase, transfers to and from the lodge and laundry.

A rich bird life, a variety of fascinating trees and plants, an abundance of other wildlife, as well as the big five may be experienced by guests. Ekuthuleni Lodge is a three-hour drive form Johannesburg. Daily road and air transfers may be arranged on request. Ekuthuleni is equipped for private helicopter transfers. The reserve also has private landing strips.
