Stopover on the way back to JHB
Nenette Van der linde-Barker, South Africa - 08 September 2014
Arriving in the dark was not a good idea but the directions that Linda sent assisted. I found the beds a bit hard and struggled to sleep. The rooster also woke us up at 4am and this was not really something I enjoyed. The bath and amenities was good and loved the smell of the crisp white towels. An option of brown bread and sweetener should have been offered as part of the continental breakfast. The kids loved the bunk beds.
WHAT A PLACE!

What an oasis! And what hospitality! We have recommended it to all our show going friends, and hope next year we will fill the whole place! Perfect, from the gorgeous baths, never ending hot water, divine linen, gorgeous gardens, to the braai area. We were lucky this time!! THANKS TO ALL there!!
Beautiful

Lovely

Lovely comfortable beds, beautiful linen, bathroom and kitchen unit perfect. What we needed: some information about the lodge, where we could walk, how meals worked. The directions to the lodge were not clear.
Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Olive Hill Country Lodge and the service was also good. We will definitely visit again.

Olive Hill Country Lodge
This classic sandstone guest house was designed to conform to typical Free State architecture. Olive Hill Country Lodge is situated in a pristine rural setting with exceptional views, only 4 km north of Bloemfontein and near the Bloemfontein International Airport. Accessibility to the N1 is a further aspect in its favour.

Olive Hill Country Lodge houses six en-suite bedrooms, each linked by a wide verandah where one can spend lazy, late afternoons lapping up the Free State sunshine and enjoying an uninterrupted view of a typical Free State rural countryside. Each bedroom is furnished with a small, fully-equipped kitchenette. The two larger bedrooms are each equipped with a double bed, a Victorian bath, a shower and a kitchenette. For families, we offer the possibility of additional bunk beds. The four smaller rooms are each equipped with two single beds and uninterrupted views. All rooms come equipped with TVs, air-conditioning, extra blankets, towels, shampoo, soap and bubble bath. A basic Continental breakfast is provided, but an English breakfast and dinner can be served on request.

Guests will find that the well appointed bedrooms are a haven from the nearby city. Olive Hill Country Lodge is designed to appeal to families, but also to conference attendees and representatives looking for something out of the ordinary in the heart of the Free State. The guest house is also ideally equipped for prospective brides and their bridesmaids to prepare for their wedding.
