Great staff, friendly staff, nice towels and comfy beds. Shower head and water pressure not good.

It is good and the staff are hospitable.

We had a really big, clean room. It was great not having to drive around looking for the place in the dark as we arrived late and we were very pleased with the place.

The cottages are very congested and uncomfortable. To our surprise, most of the units are occupied by people working on the borders and not tourists. All in all it was a very uncomfortable stay for a family. The staff was very helpful though.

My sons and I spent 3 nights there in Dec 2012 and loved the chalet, the gardens, the pets and the atmosphere. The museum is brilliant and we did the 2 day Bushveldt Carbineers tour with Charles Leach. My sons are teenagers and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

We have stayed at Lalapanzi many times over the years on our way to and from Zimbabwe and we have always been so impressed. It is friendly, clean, the food excellent and the staff accomodating, all of this and very reasonable rates to top it off. We highly recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed the ambience in this warm hotel and found the staff very friendly and one particular waitress very helpful. The restaurant service was unfortunately very slow and the pubs both pubs took preference for the restaurant service which we did not understand. The room was more than adequate.

Really enjoyed the short stay. One of the waiters took exceptional trouble to get a dessert for my wife as the kitchen had run out of the published item. She pressured the chef and a slightly improvised portion was served and enjoyed. All the staff were very friendly and in particular the exchange student and the front desk staff. One complaint is that we were not forewarned about the lack of card payment facilities and this can lead to embarasment to clients as the trend is not to carry cash unless absolutely necessary.

It was excellent.

Enjoyable. Lovely "slap chips". Was a little concerned about highway noise but slept like the dead and did not even hear. Very neat, tidy and clean. Thank you.

Lalapanzi has changed for the better since I last visited 10 years ago.

My husband and I stayed at Lalapanzi Hotel on 7 November 2009. The accommodation was lovely and the food delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely make use of Lalapanzi in future.

A very friendly and relaxed place to stay. The skirmishes museum and tour are really excellent and well worth experiencing. The staff were all charming, especialy Gideon.
