I unfortunately had very little time to unwind and enjoy the stay as I was busy settling my daughter into university. I will most certainly come back.

We were very happy with our stay. Loved the special touch of a fresh flower and soap on our beds. The cottage very homely and spacious. A delightful shower head. And the surroundings candy for the eyes and music to the soul. Home away from home.
Thanks

I had a great stay here. The surroundings were very peaceful. I would recommend it to others and revisit as the lady there showed us the other rooms as well for next time. The booking process through Rooms For Africa was very convenient so I would utilise them again.
Lovely Stay

The owner, Carol, was very welcoming and hospitable. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite for one night. The room was lovely with a beautiful view from the balcony and a big, clawfoot bath. After a great breakfast, we took a stroll in the surrounding forest and did some wine-tasting which is highly-recommended. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back for a full weekend.
Excellent

This is the best stay ever and the best steak.
Nice stay

We both enjoyed our 'mini-moon' at Knorhoek. The bed was wonderfully comfortable (a major plus at our age). The food and wine at Towerbosch was incomparable and we whiled away a happy Sunday over lunch and wine.

Very quiet environment and pretty people. The food was perfect and the wine tasting a bonus (you dont have to drive after that).

We had a pleasant stay in a well equipped room; nice BIG bed.

Very relaxing!

A towel rack close to the bath would be good.

We stayed one night in the family suite. We enjoyed the environment and went for a nice walk after breakfast.

Knorhoek Guest House & Wines
If you’ve chosen one of Knorhoek’s two luxury self-catering cottages, pad through barefoot to a well-appointed kitchen and prepare your first coffee of the day. Relax on the stoep and watch the light. Your low-walled garden leads directly into the farm where vineyards, depending on the season, will either be heavy with bunches of ripe grapes ready for the harvest or perhaps the vines are turning russet to signal autumn.
If you’re staying in one of our eight en suite bedrooms, prepare for one of our farmhouse breakfasts that will have you fuelled and ready for an active day either exploring the 200-ha farm or Stellenbosch and surrounds. Then again, you might simply pick up your book or camera and laze about the lawns under ancient oaks and avenues of Poplar trees planted by the families who lived and worked here over the centuries.
