Unprofessional

The place looks very clean and organized. However i was not happy about the payments, the quotation i received from my email was R930 for two nights - only to be called later on that I still owe R1068 extra. It was unprofessional and I feel I have been robbed. A quotation should be a true reflection of what you will finally pay. I couldn't look for other accommodation because I thought Kalahari had reasonable price.

Kalahari Lodge
Located in the Northern Cape Province Kalahari Lodge boasts a number of attractions, from an a la carte restaurant, spacious conferencing centres, to the peaceful and serene location. Our restaurant offers a wide variety of traditional cuisine for the food connoisseurs. The surroundings are peaceful and pleasantly secure. We make it our goal to assure that your stay is a memorable one.

The restaurant includes an upstairs loft that accommodates 150 seated patrons, buffet counter and separate Ladies Bar. There is a large open porch adjacent to restaurant leading to the well-established gardens and swimming pool area. A full English breakfast is served between 07h00 and 10h00. A Sunday carvery is offered. Booking are essential.

We provide conference facilities for up to 120 delegates. The conference centres are adjoined via inter-leading doors and feature standard equipment with a data projector as optional. Full catering is available.

We offer wedding and functions for up to 150 guests with a dance floor and bar facilities. Enjoy a garden wedding ceremony.

Kalahari Lodge offers a Ladies Bar and a Pool Bar for functions and barbecues.

The lodge offers 30 rooms comprising of two Family Rooms sleeping two adults and two children each, 28 luxurious rooms sleeping one or two persons and two inter-leading rooms. All our rooms have 10 TV channels, six DStv and four local channels, air-conditioning and telephones. Two rooms are wheelchair friendly.

Kalahari Lodge uses the eco-friendly Raycop UV-C Anti Allergy Cleaner to sterilize all furniture in the establishment.

The lodge is situated 3 km outside Kimberley on N12 to Cape Town, and 4 km from the airport.
