All Comments for Coombs Camp

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Coombs Lodge. It really was so lovely and quiet and restored our souls. It was an added bonus that for the 3 nights we had the lodge and cottage for our group with noone else on the farm. General concensus is that we will go back again.

We decided to stop over at Coombs Camp on our way along the Garden Route and, whilst we only stayed for one night, would highly recommend the place and definitely look at staying there again the next time we're on the same route. The tented camp was excellent and felt very private whilst also providing ample facilities (separate kitchen, dining, ablution and sleeping tents). The owner (Jeremy) was extremely friendly and helpful, providing some good recommendations for our trip! All in all a very pleasant experience and you can't beat waking up to sunrise over the bush. Our stay was wonderful. We booked at the camp but got the lodge. All conveniences were available but the peace and tranquility of the setting was awesome. Will definitely use this accommodation again when in the Eastern Cape.

I am very happy that Coombs Camp was in our holiday planning when we went through South Africa. It was a real adventure. A really stunning place. We got a friendly welcome and the place was very, very, clean. The tents are outstanding; spacious and just so comfortable. The reserve is full of small game, birds and is situated beautifully. We already recommended you to all our friends and family and you get definitely five stars from us.

We had the most wonderful one-night stay at Coombs camp. The tents were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing and fun exploring for the kids. Jeremy was fantastic and we ate like Kings! The only problem with our stay was that it was only one night!!! Will definitely be returning.
